Shawnee von Sieto is a beautiful 5 year old German Shepherd.  This sweet girl is happy, gentle, friendly and has a loving personality.  She meets new people fabulously and will give kisses and cuddle with you for hours.  She had quite a fan club at the shelter and when they heard we rescued her, they all posted good wishes and heart emojis.  At the shelter play yard, she was introduced to a male pit bull.  They met fine and she just wanted to initiate play with him.  She lived with a small dog in her previous home.  With proper intros, Shawnee will be a great playmate for dog pals.  She walks well on leash and responds well to corrections.  She loves to go on the hikes with our volunteers where she can roll on her back on the grass and ask for tummy rubs.  This is her favorite past-time!  She was calm and well mannered at an event where she met adoring fans including kids who loved to pet and hug her.  We can't wait for this social, sweet girl to find her forever home!  (Shawnee's skin condition is called vitiligo, a pigment issue, no treatment is needed.)
